About Suvarna

Suvarna is a 10-year old girl who stays with her family in H.D Kote, Mysore. Her father works as a daily wage worker and her mother takes up coolie work from time to time. Suvarna is a very active girl studying in 3rd STD in a government school along with her brother who is 2nd STD. She loves spending her time studying, reading and playing with her friends.

Medical Details

In June 2019, she began complaining about a pain in her neck, this pain was caused by the presence of a lump which was also the main culprit for her recurring and persistent fever. The family took her to KR Hospital where she underwent a biopsy. Post the test-results, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The Doctor in KR Hospital referred them to a hospital in Bengaluru, as this was inconvenient to the family, they approached Bharath Cancer HCG Hospital, Mysuru.

At Bharath Cancer HCG Hospital, she underwent a CT-Scan, Blood test and surgery to treat the lump. Suvarna, now has to undergo 8-cycles of Chemotherapy.
